Anime I like a lot

This was originally a Visual Novel page because I planned on trying to get back into them, but I think I don't care enough for them to actually do so. I never read a lot of them in the past anyway. So now it has become the spot where I will put some of my favorite anime. They are in no particular order. Maybe you can gather my tastes from this list, though I think it's varied so maybe not.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann - My favorite anime. It's like taking a 500 episode shonen and cramming it into 27 episodes. Nothing but fun. I skip episode 6.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners - Everything about this anime is great. The looks, the music, the story, the designs. It stands out in a sea of derivative shows.
Cowboy Bebop - Deserves the 'classic' title it has. I especially love the music in this show. I still listen to songs from here on Spotify.
Neon Genesis Evangelion - This one isn't actually one of my favorites anymore, but it was something I watched early on after getting into anime and wanted to bring it up here because it meant a lot to me for a while. I am pretty lukewarm on it now I think.
Serial Experiments Lain - A slow paced, kind of boring show. I only watch it when I am in the right mood. Love the aesthetics and the exploration into identity and the internet.
Code Geass - I've rewatched this show more than any other. I can listen to it and see most of it in my head. One of the few I watch dubbed, because I watched it dubbed first as a teenager.
Nodame Cantabile - I enjoy realistic RomCom. I enjoy classical music. Mixing them together well unsurprisingly makes a show I like. It's hard to find good RomCom anime, so this is a nice watch.
Violet Evergarden - A beautiful show, but I really like it because of the main character of the title. She is very relatable for me in an odd way.
The Eminence in Shadow - It has almost no redeeming qualities from an objective point of view. It is trash. However, it is unashamed to be what it is and uses that to make you laugh, which I enjoy. I feel like this is a love it or hate it type of anime.
